Dr. Renee’ Crater, of Little Rock, AR is the owner of
MCH Physical Therapy Clinic. She is a
native Arkansan and is one of the first two African Americans to obtain a
Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Central
Arkansas in 1983. She worked in several
different settings prior to founding MCH Physical Therapy Clinic in 1989 with
two other colleagues. MCH Physical
Therapy Clinic is the first African American owned physical therapy private
practice in the state of Arkansas. Today
she is the sole owner of the business.
She obtained her transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from
Alabama State University in 2012. In
addition to running a private practice, Dr. Crater is very active in her
community. In addition to being a member
of the American Academy of Physical Therapy, she is a member of the American
Physical Therapy Association, the Arkansas Medical, Dental, and Pharmaceutical
Association, the Arkansas Stroke Care Task Force, the Tidwell Project board of
directors, and Andrews Funeral Home board of directors. She has one daughter, Whitney Crater Owens,
who is a State Farm Insurance Agent in Little Rock. In her spare time she enjoys attending
theatrical performances, live music events, watching and attending sporting
events, and traveling. She also dances
in an adult dance class at The Centre For The DansArts, and performs at the
annual dance recital.
