The membership of SAMI-PT shall:

  • Share their experiences and provide resources for students during clinical internships.
  • Serve as mentors to undergraduate students seeking admission to physical therapy programs.

  • Promote education and conduct research.

       Through effective and dedicated mentorship, the collaboration of future and present physical therapists will elevate the AAPT to unseen heights of professional and community enrichment.

The National Scholarship Service for Negro Students (NSSFNS)

The sessions are open to high school juniors and seniors regardless of age, cultural backgrounds, ethnic origins, financial status or gender. Representatives at the SCIS include admissions personnel, financial aid officers, and/or alumni.
